As the United Nations marks its 75th anniversary, Shared_Studios and the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) are partnering to launch a virtual dialogue series to highlight the knowledge, experience and visions for the future of communities on the frontlines of conflict prevention and peacebuilding efforts.

The series, featuring voices from Bolivia, Iraq and Rwanda, will explore themes such as technology’s role in advancing peace initiatives; the role of art in local peacemaking and conflict-prevention; and how pop culture can shape the norms of peace. The conversations focus on community-based efforts to sustain peace and will explore how the arts, new technology and innovative approaches can be leveraged at the local level in order to spark dialogue, build social cohesion and resolve conflict.
